NWMH Training & Development Unit (MHTDU)
Our Mental Health Training & Development Unit (MHTDU) assists in the workforce development needs of mental health clinical staff.
We offer a variety of workshops and programs designed for mental health practitioners of all disciplines. We advocate the participation of both the Consumer and Carer workforce in planning and delivery of training.
You can also download the training calendar.
Who can attend our workshops?
Professional development workshops are primarily provided for clinicians who work in NorthWestern Mental Health programs.
Clinicians from other state funded Department of Health Area Mental Health Services (Adult & CAMHS), and from relevant professional backgrounds including service sector staff such as private clinicians, mental health community support services, NGOs and other support services are able to attend for a fee.
Once you've found a course or workshop, select Book now to access the online registration form.
Early registration is highly recommended to ensure your place, due to limited availability.
Registrations are confirmed via email within 5 working days. If you do not receive a confirmation, contact us.
A reminder confirmation email will also be sent to registered participants one week prior to the workshop.
