We offer a highly successful training program, with the greatest choice of training experiences in both basic and advanced RANZCP training areas, as well as multiple subspecialty areas.

Our training and exam support for our medical trainees are well established, and we and work hard to produce well rounded psychiatrists who have the opportunity to experience areas of personal interest throughout their training years.

We offer a Graduate Mental Health Nurse Program as well as opportunities for graduate nurses to join our Post-Graduate Nursing Program and complete a Graduate Diploma of Advanced Nursing Practice, Mental Health.

Allied health

An entry level training and support program is available to occupational therapists, social workers and psychologists who are beginning their careers.

A program of tutorials, education and peer support is established across NWMH and has been running for many years. The program also interfaces with the Graduate Nursing Program.
