Academic Unit for Psychiatry in Old Age
The Academic Unit for Psychiatry of Old Age is an integral part of the University of Melbourne Department of Psychiatry and our Aged Persons Mental Health Program at NorthWestern Mental Health.
We provide academic and clinical leadership in the field of Old Age Psychiatry.
We aim to disseminate research findings to the community, consumers, researchers, stakeholders, service providers and policy-makers to provide a source of current evidence to advance knowledge, service delivery and care and help reduce stigma and discrimination associated with mental health problems and cognitive impairment in older age.
