5 Ways to Wellbeing and a healthy mind

Most people know what it takes to have a healthy body to keep us living longer. But when it comes to doing things for a healthy mind, it can be a bit hard to know what to do.

So to make it easier to know how to improve your psychological and emotional health, a new website called the 5 Ways To Wellbeing has been created.

The website enables all Victorians to try the 5 Ways to Wellbeing and incorporate them into daily routines at work and home. Founded on extensive international research about individual psychological wellbeing, the key messages of the 5 Ways to Wellbeing are:

  • Connect
  • Be Active
  • Keep Learning
  • Be Aware
  • Help Others.

A grant from the Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation has enabled North West Area Mental Health Service to roll the 5 Ways To Wellbeing strategy out collaboratively into the broader community.

On the 5 Ways website you will find a range of interactive and educational tools and some translated resources for individuals, workplaces, health professionals and organisations.
